My name is Matthew Croft, I’ve always been “people first” so when I found that UX/UI design was about understanding user behavior and creating better experiences for users, it felt like the perfect fit for merging my life of creativity and people. My time at Northwestern has helped me develop the critical skills necessary for a career in user experience design. I’m able to leverage my 4+  of professional experience including web development, interactive design, product design, photography, marketing, and sales in a more holistic approach that also utilizes my empathetic and analytical skills. I've found a passion for crafting meaningful human-centered solutions through efficient and beautiful design.

I enjoy being creative in every element of my life. You can often find me cooking foods from around the world with vegetables and herbs from my garden. I love spending time in the garage building shelves from reclaimed wood, or hiking in the North Cascades with my best fur friend Bear.
